Developing Maths Pedagogy
This free workgroup is designed to look at ways of improving A level Maths blended teaching. It will look at ways of teaching online and supporting students with ’catching up’;
- Do your Year 12 students have gaps in their GCSE Maths knowledge or are not really at the standard that their GCSE Maths grade would suggest?
- Is attendance in A level Maths lessons impacted by student absence?
- Are you interested in improving statistics lessons?
- Are you having to rush through Year 13 material because you are trying to teach Year 12 work at the same time
What is your school doing about these issues?
This workgroup will give participants from across Devon and Cornwall an opportunity to share their experiences and develop ways of supporting students and improve online teaching.
There will be 3 sessions, one in each term. The first 2 will be online after school.
Session 2 will be looking at how to improve A Level Statistics teaching and will be taking place on Thursday 28 January 2021 from 4-6pm. Please click the link below to download the flyer and sign up to the session.

CODE Catch-Up
Firstly, all of us at CODE Maths Hub hope that you, your families and school communities are well during these challenging times. As you will be aware that we have suspended all face-to-face contact over this summer term, although we have been able to maintain some support as we become more accomplished with the use of online meetings! This ‘Catch-up’ is a short update to keep you informed of the current work that is happening and also to make you aware of upcoming opportunities.
