Explore Equity in Maths Education  - from Early Years to Post-16 and Teaching for Mastery to Core Mathematics - at the CODE Maths Hub Conference 2026

A day packed-full of professional development, featuring keynote speakers and a choice of more than 15 workshops throughout the day, designed to explore mathematics across all phases of education.

Our conference will be a fantastic opportunity to reflect on practice, share ideas, and collaborate with others across the CODE maths education community.

Dr Lee  Elliot Major

Dr Lee Elliot Major

Britain’s first Professor of Social Mobility, Lee is based at the University of Exeter. He was previously Chief Executive of the Sutton Trust, the UK’s leading social mobility foundation. His work with the South-West Social Mobility Commission has influenced many of the Hub's goals.
 Sue  Johnston-Wilder

Sue Johnston-Wilder

Associate Professor Johnston-Wilder works in the Centre for Education Studies at the University of Warwick, where she lectures, writes, researches and organises conferences for students and teachers on overcoming Maths Anxiety. Her work perfectly complements the Hub's Vision and Values.
