Support for the Early Years

CODE works closely with our local Stronger Practice Hubs to support EYFS. We can also offer support via Maths Champions, delivered by the NDNA.

As part of the BSiL strategy, we are now able to offer information sessions about the Maths Champions Programme, which will be delivered jointly with the NDNA. Each session will provide leaders of schools with school-based nurseries with information about the programme. It will explain how the programme supports nurseries to develop their practice, ensuring that maths is embedded throughout the day and across the provision to ensure children make a strong start in Reception.

Our aim

The core purpose of the hub is to help schools and colleges lead improvement in mathematics education across the region. We seek to harness all the maths leadership and expertise within the area, to develop and spread excellent practice, for the benefit of all pupils and students.
